The Home Portrait
A home is so much more than a building. It represents milestones, memories, a season of life. Home portraits are special keepsakes that will look beautiful framed on the wall, as well as serve as a reminder of all the memories made in that house years after you move on from it.

Each home portrait is hand drawn based on the photograph submitted, painted with watercolor on 140 lb watercolor paper, and shipped or hand delivered to you, depending on your location.

(I can also paint other special places that are important to you, such as the church where you got married, etc!)

This style looks clean and stylish, especially with text added. It is often the best option for homes that have minimal or no landscaping or are very close to other homes.

Like a classic painting or portrait, paint covers the whole page of this style home portrait, giving the fullest view of the home and surrounding landscaping.

This style is often the best option for multifamily homes or homes with extensive landscaping or other features on the property that you want to be included in the painting.

Please follow these instructions to place an order:

Fill out the order form above.

Email Christine Harrell at christinegharrell@gmail.com with PAINTING in the subject line. Please attach a clear photograph of the home taken from the angle from which you would like it painted. Please include full-body photos of pets and people if you would like to add figures to the painting.

Please note: I do not include any non-permanent items unless requested (cars, holiday decorations, garbage cans, etc.) Including large trees may cause the home to be drawn smaller on the page. This may also be the case for long quotes or other text.

Once your order has been received and acknowledged, you will receive an invoice. When the payment is received, the painting can begin! Once the painting is finished, you will receive notification, and your painting will be shipped to you!

Please note: there is no proofing process for the original watercolor paintings. The paintings are painted from the photo you send me in my style represented in the examples in the above photos.

Each portrait is made to order- 5x7", 8x10", 9x12", 11x14”, or 12x16” on 140 lb watercolor paper (Can be custom sized as needed, please message me for pricing.)

TIME FRAME:
​
I am currently taking 4 orders a month. Paintings will be completed and shipped by the end of the month. If your order is submitted in the latter half of the month, it may be processed and shipped the following month.
​
If you have a date you need a painting by, please let me know, so I can try to accommodate you.
​
NOTE: ORDERS MUST BE IN BY NOV 1 IN ORDER TO BE GUARANTEED BY CHRISTMAS. (If there are already 4 orders in front of yours by Nov 1, yours may not be able to be guaranteed by Christmas.)

PROCESS:
Painting will begin after artist and client have discussed painting
details and client has paid invoice. Once painting is complete, the
painting will be shipped. Processing time depends on availability at the time.
COPYRIGHT:
This signed original art is for personal use only. Commercial rights
are retained by the artist. You may see your painting on my social media
sites.
CUSTOM ART:
Because each painting is a custom, hand
painted piece of artwork, a painting may have some streaks or specks of
paint. These are artistic elements that make it unique! Each piece is
unique and will not be exactly identical to another.
SHIPPING:
Shipping is USPS First Class (unless otherwise noted or requested) and
is included for domestic orders.
